出品者コメントThe scrapbook covers have fairly light wear, but the pages are brittle and are chipping, and many of them have become detached from the binding (torn at the holes that the binding strings go through). All cards were originally glued to the pages, but a few cards have fallen off the pages (I did not re-glue them) and are still present. Some cards have creases, but most are in good shape. All cards are signed. See photos and description.

商品説明※アメリカの現地出品者により作成されたため、英語のまま掲載いたしております。This is an original 1940s scrapbook full of greeting cards and a few other paper items (cards from flowers, childhood drawings, and magazine clippings) for a girl born in 1942. There are 97 total greeting cards: 51 new baby cards, 25 birthday cards, 14 Christmas cards, 5 Valentine's cards (and pieces of a couple other Valentine's cards), one Easter card, and one Mother's Day card. The graphics on the cards are absolutely beautiful and really capture the atmosphere of the era. NOTE: There are duplicates of a couple of the "new baby" cards; one card with a stork was actually sent by THREE different people. There are only a few of each of the other paper items mentioned. All cards and paper items were originally glued to the scrapbook pages, and most of them remain glued to the pages; a few have fallen off the pages (but are still present and included) as the glue has weakened over the decades. A lot of the pages in the scrapbook were never used. Overall, the scrapbook is in fair vintage condition. As you'll see in my first three photos, the covers have fairly light wear. However, you'll notice in all photos that the pages are quite brittle and have suffered serious chipping along their edges. A lot of pages have become fully detached from the binding as the holes that the binding strings pass through have been torn. All cards are signed, and all paper items have glue on their backs. Most cards are in good shape, but some have acquired creases as the scrapbook has been opened and closed many times over the years. I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple orders. I will ship only to a shipping address listed on your ebay account. If you wish for me to ship to a different address, you're able to add the desired shipping address in your account settings (under "addresses") before making your purchase, and I will happily ship there for you! Ebay automatically adds sales tax for certain states and localities.
